.: Jupiter

Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system,
is named after the Roman pantheon ruler, and is known as Zeus among
the Greeks. Mythology associates Jupiter with wisdom, victory, and
justice. Just as its size implies, Jupiter exaggerates, or expands.
It is symbolic of the ability to reach beyond present horizons to
look for the bigger plan. Confidence and optimism are present to
carry the grand vision through.
Jupiter brings the desire to discover the meaning of life and greater
truths and therefore, approaches life philosophically. This thirst
for more knowledge and higher learning is linked to universities
or spiritual teachers. Jupiter is also called The Lord of Truth
and is associated with the legal system, courts, law and order.
Among the many things that Jupiter brings is the urge to grow mentally,
emotionally and spiritually. It also causes the desire for good
fortune and plenty. Jupiter brings a yearning for new experiences
and travel to exciting places. Too much expansion, however, can
cause greediness, insincerity, and false optimism, along with an
inflated ego.
At its best, Jupiter is symbolic of the good-natured idealist who
has the faith and wisdom to make big dreams come true. Sagittarius
is ruled by Jupiter.
