.: Venus

The mythological goddess of love
and beauty, Venus is also the mother of Eros. The Greeks knew her
as Aphrodite. Venus symbolizes the female principle and creates
unity and harmonizes. She also shares an appreciation of art and
nature.
Venus represents the need to relate to others, while encouraging
the expression of feelings of love, and what brings you pleasure.
Venus is known to be charming, popular, and enticing. She might
also be bit to self indulgent and easy going. Venus is not confrontational
and will do almost anything to avoid one. Instead, she will try
to calm things down by captivating or seducing her opponent.
The main function of Venus is to bring union, so it makes sense
that attraction plays a big part in what she does, emphasizing the
outward appearance, romantic love, sociability, as well as the opposite
sex. This planet bestows a sweet character, a love of nature, and
strong desires. Venus also "softens" anything it touches. It gives
a sense of beauty and good taste, an artistic and musical ability,
and natural refinement. Venus governs what you consider valuable,
and also shows attitudes about money, possessions and self-worth.
The signs of Taurus and Libra are both ruled by Venus.
