The main function of Venus is to bring union, so it makes sense that attraction plays a big part in what she does, emphasizing the outward appearance, romantic love, sociability, as well as the opposite sex. This planet bestows a sweet character, a love of nature, and strong desires. Venus also "softens" anything it touches. It gives a sense of beauty and good taste, an artistic and musical ability, and natural refinement.
